If you’d like confidential support over the phone, you can call the Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858 any time, day or night.

The Gambling Helpline is here for anyone affected by gam bling, whether it’s your own or someone else’s. That includes partners, family members and friends like you. Our qualified counsellors can help you look after yourself during this challenging time, and give you strategies to support someone in their gambling recovery.

Qualified gambling counsellors are available to listen and talk through what’s been happening. They can provide information and support, and connect you or anyone else in need with ongoing counselling or other services if required.

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls are free and aren’t listed on phone bills.

Gambling Helpline counsellors can provide the following:

  • confidential and free support
  • crisis support
  • someone who will listen and understand
  • referrals to local ongoing gambling counselling services
  • information
  • tips and strategies to help people achieve their goals
